OUR MISSION

Navigating today’s complex health care system presents new challenges for patients and providers. At Amani Mind, we recognize the opportunity to connect them with the resources they need to respond to a diagnosis. Through this website, education, training and one-on-one coaching, we’re committed to rethinking how to support people and their caregivers in collaborating to help improve health outcomes and reduce the risk of recurrence. We look to evidence-based, integrative approaches that engage them in their treatment regimen — addressing the individual-specific physical, emotional/spiritual and environmental factors that aid recovery and sustain wellness. Our holistic, whole-patient focus unifies Eastern medicine with Western science, helping people to heal through mind-body change and self-care — and by tapping into the divine power they have within themselves. their treatment regimen — addressing the individual-specific physical, emotional/spiritual and environmental factors that aid recovery and sustain wellness. WHERE WE STARTED

Amani Mind began with a personal question confronting our founder, Linda Webb, as she grappled with an autoimmune and chronic fatigue syndrome in her 20’s: Beyond prescriptions, what else can I do to find relief and restore my health? Confronting the diagnosis led her to be more mindful, incorporating meditation, herbal medicine, and yoga into her daily routine. She decided to embrace the eastern medicine path to, not only manage her anxiety/stress, but reverse the chronic health issues she had been plagued with. Already successful in health care management, she pursued formal education in Ayurveda practices, restorative yoga, neurolinguistic programming and Reiki medicine so she could bring discipline to other people’s need for self-awareness and self-healing.

EAST MEETS WEST

As the integration of Eastern and Western medicine continues to gain acceptance, patients and providers can tap into a new range of proven, integrative therapies. Looking beyond reactive diagnosis and treatment, this approach promotes health and healing not by focusing on symptoms in isolation but in the context of the whole person. It looks beyond short-term care to a holistic view of individuals to deliver preventative care for acute and chronic conditions. Complementary and alternative medicine (e.g., acupuncture, massage, meditation and yoga) allows people to manage symptoms without the risk of invasive surgery or prescription drug misuse and side effects. At Armani Mind, we believe encouraging people to make thoughtful choices about their diet, exercise, mindfulness and sleep can lead them to the healthier, more balanced lives they want.
